D.I.Y Dildos
D.I.Y Dildos – Arts and Crafts Have Never Been So Much Fun

Sure, there are lots of dildos commercially available in all sorts of shapes and configurations to give the user precisely the stimulation they’re craving. Still, some folks might be on ultra-tight budgets and others are hands-on crafts enthusiasts who derive great satisfaction from the creative exercise. To that end, we’re proud to show you how to make your own dildos.
If you want to create your dildo masterwork from scratch, one method begins with creating a dildo mold with modeling clay and latex. First, sculpt the dildo of your dreams with the modeling clay. Once you’re happy with your dildo prototype, give it a coat of vaseline to make it easy to slip out of the finished mold once it’s dried. Once your dildo prototype is good and greasy, begin brushing layers of latex over it. You need latex that’s used for casts, and that should be readily available at your local hobby shop or the crafts department of any major retailer. This portion of the dildo creation process is painstaking; several layers need to go onto the clay and each layer has to dry before you paint the subsequent one onto the dildo prototype. Six or seven layers should do the trick.

Now for the killer – your dildo mold’s gotta dry before you can move onto filling it, and this’ll take about a week. Tom Petty was right; the waiting is the hardest part. It’s necessary, though; you don’t want your dildo prototype to break apart because the latex is too pliable. Once the latex is dry, it’s time to move onto the silicone injection. To fill your dildo mold, you’ll need a caulking gun. Then there’s the matter of picking out the silicone. Silicone’s best for your dildo because as a non-porous material, it’ll make your dildo easy to clean and silicone eliminates the chance of germs and bacteria becoming trapped in your dildo’s material. Make sure that what you’re buying is pure silicone; you don’t want any additives as that can make the material unhealthy for sexplay. Most hardware and department stores only carry clear or white silicone, so if you want a more colorful dildo, you may need to do some driving around or looking online for the silicone that’s right for your dildo. Once again, you can get these almost anywhere, and isn’t it a kick to think of Lowe’s as a dildo supply shop?

It’s really helpful to have a base to steady the dildo mold, so affix your creation to a sturdy piece of cardboard, and cut a hole in it where the dildo’s base is. Very slowly, so that you don’t get any air bubbles in the material, inject your dildo with the silicone. After you’ve filled the dildo mold, you’ve gotta wait for the silicone to dry, but this time, twenty-four hours will do the trick. You’re almost home. Once that magic moment arrives, peel the latex away from your dildo and voila! It’s your very own, one-of-a-kind dildo that you made all by yourself. Be sure to proudly display your new dildo on your coffee table so that friends and family will beam with pride at your dildoriffic accomplishment.
After you’ve successfully made your first dildo, you might find it fun to experiment with different shapes and even try adding features like tiny nubs on the tip once you’ve become proficient with dildo making. The possibilities are limitless, and just think of how cool Dildo Fabrication Expert will look on your resume. Happy dildo crafting!
